I specialize in making portraits of your kids and your family in a totally relaxed setting, which ensures that everyone looks their best, and the most genuine, spontaneous memories are captured.

My standard kids/family portrait package includes the following:

1- to 2-hour portrait session at a location of your choosing within the Metro NYC area (we can negotiate rates for further travel)
about 1 roll's worth (30-40) of final images, retouched/color-corrected as necessary
images hosted on your own web gallery (with password-protection, if you choose) for easy sharing with friends and family
professional-quality prints, albums, framing and other photo products available for purchase from your web gallery
DVD with high-quality images available upon request, for an additional $200

Photo Day Tips

I always look forward to shooting each session I do — kids being themselves and doing what they do just about guarantees amazing photos. However, there are a few things you can do to help ensure a great family photo shoot and make the memories we capture that much more special:

Choose bright, colorful outfits, but at the same time, try to avoid busy patterns that will take the focus away from where it belongs: on your kids!
Feel free to bring a change of outfits - it's never a bad idea to have several different looks during the same session.
For outdoor shoots in the park or at the beach, a towel or blanket and picnic (or at least some snacks) can be a great way for kids to get comfortable and refuel between takes.
Make sure the kids are well rested and full of energy. Cranky kids will probably be less apt to cooperate (and really, who can blame them? I don't follow instructions so well when I'm tired either!).
